British Grand Prix
Accessibility Guide

At our events, every motorsport fan is part of the action. We’re committed to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all regardless of ability. From thoughtfully designed facilities to attentive services, we work hard to ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable visit.

The Silverstone team can be found in Customer Corner gate 19 should you need support, however in the first instance please speak to our Race Makers or zone staff.

Silverstone covers a large and varied area, over 600 acres, with surfaces like grass, tarmac, concrete, stone paths, and some loose gravel. The weather can sometimes affect how easy it is to get around, so it’s a good idea to keep that in mind when choosing what gear to bring along.

Arrival Information by Car - Blue Badge (pre-booked only)

  • Follow the accessibility symbol shown on your car pass ( purple star), posted to you pre event.
  • Do not deviate from the marked route — you may end up in the wrong car park
  • Listen to the stewards — they are there to help you park quickly and safely
  • Display your Blue Badge
  • Surface will be hard standing with trackway paths
  • Use Gate 16, the nearest and most accessible entrance to the circuit

Park & Ride

  • From M40 the bus drops off close to Gate 19
  • From M1 the bus drops-off close to Gate 1 or 20
  • Park & Ride services are wheelchair friendly

Hi there! Just a quick reminder to bring along your access card or your Sunflower lanyard (if you have one). These will help you get in more quickly through the accessible entrances.

On the day, our friendly team members will be walking around to greet and assist you. If you find yourself waiting in a queue, feel free to give us a wave or call out—we’re happy to help!

You’re welcome to leave the venue at any time. Just make sure to scan out when you go so you can easily scan back in later.

All accessible viewing areas must be pre-booked, with the exception of the Made at Vale platform and the Main Stage platform which are available after 5:30pm, operating on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: If you are accompanying someone in a wheelchair, you will need to bring your own seating, as standing is not permitted on the platforms.

If you have pre booked an electric scooter or manual wheelchair through Advanced Mobility, you'll be able to collect this from the Advance Mobility huts based in car park 50B or car park 49.

We provide a service for people with limited mobility and those who require additional support at our venue. These are coordinated and driven by our dedicated accessible team.

Should you request a shuttle service, you will be directed toward the nearest collection point. The accessible shuttle points will run externally between Gates 1, 3, 5, 15, 16, and 19 throughout the day, and the Mainstage AVP in the evenings.

Our Race Maker team will handle your request. Each collection point will have seating and cover available, as well as a timetable.

We recommend waiting until the majority of the crowd has cleared the mainstage area before departing. Once it is safe to do so, event staff will guide you to the nearest exit, or shuttle.

We’re committed to making your experience enjoyable and accessible. Here are a few key points to help you make the most of your visit:
